Investment Strategies

All Season Financial Advisors Investment Strategy Overview

All of our investments strategies have a few common characteristics. All use an active trading approach to generating returns using our own proprietary trading system. All strategies use specialty mutual funds, exchange traded funds, individual stocks, limited partnerships, bonds or a combination of all to generated returns. Trading systems of any kind generate higher expenses including taxes especially for those in higher tax brackets with large taxable investment accounts. In general, we strongly recommend that our clients maintain a minimum of two or more unique investment strategies as components of a total portfolio including representation for both absolute return and relative return categories.

How to Use This List of Strategies

Strategies below are listed from lowest volatility (risk) on top to highest volatility at the bottom. Lower risk strategies typically offer investors a more controlled return stream but also less return potential. Higher risk strategies are the opposite in that they accept a greater amount of market risk and volatility in pursuit of higher returns. Investors with shorter investing time horizons should clearly orient their mix of strategies toward the upper end of this list, while long term, more aggressive, investors with a greater tolerance for risk should consider heavier allocations to the strategies at the bottom of the list.
